Thursday 8th

I've had the best day! I knew it was gona be a busy one as I had a couple of things planned but it was just lovely. I met at hers then we drove into town as I wanted to buy a pair of coloured jeans. I've been so hesitant to even try them on cause I wasn't sure how 'me' they were, but I loved them so much I got two pairs.. oops. We then went onto the sea front, had lunch and an ice cream, I went to get my locks chopped and then we went back to the sea front in a different part of town. We bathed in the suns glory for about an hour, then I went to a shop to sort things for Michael's surprise tonight (he's back early for a long weekend!)and then I popped in to see my grandparents as they love it when I surprise them!

annoying road works causing huge traffic build ups

So this is the days haul;
two pairs of jeans, a COOL moustache top, a new mug (I get a new one each year for uni) 2 sociology text books for £5!!!! CRAZY, Batiste hair spray and cough sweets for Michael.

a lovely dress in new look that I really want

The top on and a different shade jeans

a rather funny sign on the way back to the car

lunch on the Barbican

LANGAGE FARM ICE CREAM! so good, thunder and lightening

Lovely day :) trying to balance the camera on the wall whilst eating my ice cream haha

photo and hour #4 - birthday edition, 21

FINALLY! My phone has been playing up since Monday which is why I haven't posted - I've been up to things and I wrote about them but without the photo's they just seemed rubbish, so please accept my apologies and lets move on...

As my smelly sister mentioned, yesterday was my 21st birthday and my lovely father took me to Nathan Outlaw's 2 Michelin star restaurant! I know I am a very lucky girl as we had starters AND dessert, that doesn't usually happen. So, I took a photo and hour - birthday edition - to share with you my day :)
830am, shower
930am, opening cards and presents (and making a list for the thank yous..)

10am Dad and I taking nice photo's for once :)

1030am, setting off for Rock, Cornwall

1130am, gah the rain is not my friend

same - waiting for dad in the loo

1230, got there a little early to walk around but it was peeing it down so we had some tea

and wandered around a lovely shop - I got this ladies name, really lovely items!

130pm, finally at Nathan Outlaw's (review of this soon)

The meal

we finished the meal around 3/315pm

330, driving back - I love Cornish lanes!

Stopping off at Trago's for some treats

430, seeing nan for my birthday cake! She's amazing at decorating, here's the one from last year.

530, Michael's sister dropped off his surprise present and I noticed something about the card he bought...

630, swooning over a soon-to-be-mine (and personalised) lovely necklace from poppy and fern, also check them out of Facebook.

I then spent the evening planning some sessions for work and then visiting my sister and having a good long chat about everything! 21 certainly has treated me well, and I'm not as hesitant of getting older as I felt last year.

Birthday Plans

No, for those of you that know me, we're both aware that it's nowhere near my birthday (which is really in July.).  But it is almost Michaels! His birthday is on the 20th of February, and we're gona take a trip to London.
He's so funny.

Well the plan so far is for me to get the train down on the Friday of the weekend after, stay at camp for a night (I think that's uber exciting!! I've wanted to stay at his base ever since I knew I could, and he's always lovely to me so of course we were going to do it at some point, even though this is his birthday), then on Saturday he will drive us to our travel lodge near London somewhere (I don't know where and I don't want to advertise for stalkers either really!), we'll hang out on the Saturday and perhaps get the tube into the center and do stuff, we've got this cute meat house to go to as recommended by the Londoner, and then we're just doing touristy stuff. We'll sleep on the Saturday night which is super cool, as this is the time we do most of our talking, and with us both being busy recently we haven't had time for that.

Sunday we'll be doing more touristy things, and then I'll have to get a train back to Uni, BORINGGGG! Well it's not, my placement is going well it'll just be a super busy weekend :) We've always said we wanted to do a trip to London, so what better excuse that 21st celebrations.

Do you have anywhere you can recommend us going? I think we're going to Madame Tussauds, The London Dungeons, the meat place.. yeah I don't know what else he's got planned yet, ha.

Also about his present, I'd love to tell you but he checks this regularly, it's something my sister will be jealous of because she has always wanted to, she talks about doing it with friends, moving to another country to do it and things like that, she should know what it is now ha. I'm going to have to make him something to actually give as a present as it's not a present I can physically hand over. And I really want to text him and say 'OMG YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE YOUR PRESENT SO MUCH' but I hate it when he does things like that to me, okay well it's different with a birthday present, you anticipate the wait for that, rather than give away there's a secret to look forward to, but he didn't do that with my Christmas present which he easily could have done. So I shall refrain from telling him, and just wait for the text I get acknowledging that he's excited or agrees ha.
He's so cute. I once asked him to walk around all day with that face, he wouldn't.

How have your weeks been going? Any good plans for the weekend? I'm supposed to have an old friend coming to stay tomorrow night so you may not hear from me, but trust I will be having fun! xx
