Masters Graduation

So, I took a long ol' trip up to Leeds from Sunday - Wednesday this week, so I could visit lots of friends (Gemma, Gaynor, Theana, Harriet, Bex, Ben, Eley, Jess, Kate, Joss, Sally-Ann, Mark, Stevie, Lauren, Allison and Colin to name just a few), and also graduate! Both sets of parents came up on the Tuesday night and we arranged ourselves on the Wednesday - there were professional photos, graduate receptions and hundreds of people milling about. I got two colours on my hood this year, to signify that I was a postgraduate student graduating, which felt pretty special, and I also got a sweet little pin with the Leeds uni crest on it!

All in all it was a good but busy day, and the weather on the drive back was awful!! But still, we made it home alive :)

Day 17, Friday: A favorite photo of yourself and why

14th December 2012
Graduation.

I had so much fun at graduation. I had been working hard for three years to get to that day, and I was so so so so so excited for everything. The gown, the hat, the photo's, the walking up, the shaking hand, the standing proud, the even more photos, the happy people, the family, the fancy dress, the nice hair. Everything fit together well on that day, and I don't care that it rained, or that Michael and I almost fell over on the ice, or that it wasn't in summer with my friends on other courses. It was the day I wanted, and it went according to MY plan :) and it makes me so excited for the next one!!

Weekly Roundup #28

So I haven't done a weekly roundup since February.. slightly behind, however, I'm not including them all in this one, I've been up to far too much stuff! Instead I'll focus on this week (with a few pictures of Michael so I can smile whenever I read over the post).

He was ridiculously happy when he discovered he could get pokemon on his tablet... wow. and this is a sight that I am going to miss so much (laid in his bed watching films)

Custard at nans for dessert because lent ruins all fun ever

Went to be with straight damp hair, woke up to this...?!

Lovely weather down south :)

What have you been up to this week? I hope it's been good for you. I have lots of work to do next week because I took a couple days this week.. woopsie! At least I'm having fun. Hey, I forgot to tell you yesterday, but I applied for a job a few weeks ago and heard that I've been invited for an interview, so I've gone into crazy prep mode :) I suck at interviews so I really don't think I'll get it, but I'm sure gona try!

I AM A GRADUAND

What a funny word, I had to re type it like 5 times cause it is not something my fingers are use to. I literally had the best day! Although some of it was spent running around like a headless chicken and I didn't really see my grandparents, everyone saw me graduate and we had tonnes of photo's, I didn't trip up the stairs and I just had a wonderful day :) it was also icy to begin with and it rained throughout the day (hence my wispy hair) but that could not ruin my excitement, it was exactly what I wanted!

here are some photo's (I opted for a white dress because I didn't want to be drowned in black, and I saw someone from a previous year and thought the colours suited well enough)

this is a photo heavy post, here's a chance to escape now! (I don't recommend it though)
