Surprise gold sparkle

I have to confess that I bought Cosmo the other day. Now that's nothing unfamiliar in itself, but I was highly swayed in my decision by the nail varnish on the front cover... It caught my eye and then I thought about it for days. 

I know, it's so beautiful. I also know it's going to be hideous to get off, but I won't think about that until I have to- will I ever get bored of it? Will it even come off by itself? Any knowledge is greatly appreciated. 

I have another confession, in the form of a snap chat I sent Michael this morning... 

I'm a little worse for wears coming off of my third night shift. But the boy has planned everything and I just have to turn up- daily itinerary included. So I will see you on the flip side! (With lots of photos and stories of course). 

The Final Stop

It wasn't the final stop, that is a fib. We also went to the Bodmin jail but I didn't get any photos so I'm not going to tell you about it because it seems unfair! So, our technical-final-stop was at the Lobster Hatchery! AND BOY WAS I EXCITED. There was a very friendly man on reception who let us in, and then we were free!

I loved these little babies, I think they were cuttlefish.

Our Little Getaway

Michael took me to a little cottage in North Devon for my birthday. Partly for my birthday, partly for some time together for a few days whilst he was back :) We found the place here and enquired further- this was because of Michael's R&R, we didn't want to be away for a whole week because he'd want to spend time with his family too. The owners were incredibly lovely and could work with our dates, so we went ahead and booked it. We were emailed all the details before hand so it all worked out rather smoothly. When we arrived, the keys were already in the door which was a nice touch- it made it feel very safe! We decided to explore, check it out...
