Mustard lovin'

Michael thinks I hate the colour yellow. and it's true, I mostly find it offensive. Unless it's a mustard yellow, and it suits it's purpose. Our mustard and grey living room? Suitable. His bright yellow hoody that's just really yellow all the time? Offensive. My lovely mustard top with the flower pattern that Hollie gave me? Lovely. It's just how it goes.

Paired simply with a leather jacket, jeans and those heeled boots from the other day!

What I wore: Miscellaneous Pink Birds

Another item lovely miss Hollie gave me was this skirt. It's actually a boob tube top, butttttttt I knew I wouldn't wear it like that so I decided to make it into a skirt! I just took the sides in a little bit as it wasn't a tight top and I wanted the skirt to have more of a pencil-look (I have taken it in a little bit more since taking these photo's). I'm looking seriously moody in some of these photo's and I have no idea why.. I advise you to look at the skirt and just ignore the face, or laugh at it, that is also acceptable.

This time round I paired it with  my black peplum top (New Look). I just love the pattern of this skirt, I want to wear it all the time but I feel like it's too fancy to wear day to day.. its needs a proper event!

What I wore: Branching out... or not

This was another of the items Hollie gave to me, and this one was also a dress. Luckily I have friend who is as peculiar as I am and also shops in the kids section! ha! I am not the only one! Anywho, she decided she didn't want this number anymore, as there were too many ruffles on the top part of the dress. I agreed and again, changed it into a skirt.

I don't think I've done this skirt justice, so I may well restyle it at another point. I could decide on the best top - I tried a spaghetti strap, a boob tube but I also wanted to break out of my comfort zone and... wore a crop top. Better luck next time, eh?
