What I wore: Autumn's adaptation

So I've been away for a little while. I fell out of love with blogging, and I'm not quite sure if we're fully reconciled just yet. Michael is back on Saturday (praise the Lord), so I might get better then, as I like documenting what we get up to. 

I don't know what's happened to be honest. I think it might be the routine of it all - taking the photos, uploading the photos, transferring them across, arranging them. It's become monotonous. I don't feel the same reward I did when I first started. But what reward was that? I don't blog for anyone but myself really, so what was I getting then that I'm not getting now? I don't know, but I need to figure it out. 

 

I should have dark tights on really, but I haven't actually left the house yet. 

I know I moaned, but without the dissertation to write, my days are my own. So I feel like I have a lot more time to give to something. I'm just not feeling that it's the blog. I have been making lots of different foods and recipes, with no motivation to share them. I've been spending more time deciding what to wear, without wanting to show anyone.

Have you ever been in a blogging funk? How do I get myself out?

What I wore: Crop Top

So in the sales I decided to order a crop top. It came on Friday and I've wanted to wear it everyday since, that's how you know it's a good buy! I don't think I'll wear it as a casual thing though, don't want to get used to flaunting my midriff! I have a couple of up coming nights out on the horizon so I'm thinking of ways to style it.. do you have any ideas? So far I've tried it with a few skirts and some shorts..

 

 

What would you do? I think because it's quite plain the bottom half needs to be a bit busier which is why I've been looking at tights! 

P.s. since writing this post I decided to browse some Instagram hashtags and these are my winners;

 

the one on the right is the most inspiration as the tops the same colour

 

the one on the left makes me think I could pair it with my yellow skirt and I love the long sleeves

 

I love the shoes in the one on the left, and I have a baggy crop top at uni that I'm going to try on again!

p.p.s I took these photo's before I got my fringe cut, it isn't miraculously gone!

Hello lovelies, this is a skirt that I picked up in a tesco sale last year. It's really cute because it's got a layer of silk underneath and then a detailed net layer. The leafy design is super sweet.  

I've tried this with a black strap top and a grey boobtube (because I'm not very adventurous);

pretty pattern. 

I'm loving the weather at the moment because it means I can wear things like this and not need a coat! I just went to morrisons to buy ice lollies because those and grapes are my favourite treats in this weather :) how are you spending the sunshine?

p.s. my hair straighteners have broken, anyone want to buy me a new pair? :( :(
