Project Pan

Trevor Sorbie Beautiful Blonde, Ice Cool Platinum Intensive Treatment
I love love love loveeeeee this product but only because it smells so so so incredible. I wish it did more for my hair so I could justify buying it again, but I can't, because it makes very little difference to my hair. It smells like something from my childhood. In terms of the product though it was meant for blonde hair (I bought it for the smell) and it didn't lighten my hair, or overly soften it, or repair it, or anything really. It just smelt good. :)
Would I buy it again? Hmm, no, I'll probably just go and smell it in boots whenever I'm in there.

I'm gona break a rule here... I know project pans are for when you hit pan with a product and want to give your verdict, but I'm going to share a few things with you that I've had for years and not been able to use.
VO5 glossing shine serum mist
This product makes my hair greasy, heavy and limp. Harriet explained that she uses hers before she dried her hair, so I tried that, but it still didn't work for me. I don't know why I can't bring myself to throw it away but I do not like this product and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Soz VO5.

Body shops- Seaweed blemish gel
I have to admit that I stole this from Natalie, and she may well have liked it more than me (do you want it back sissy?), but I don't think this does anything for me. It doesn't prevent spots, reduce redness or help marking, so I don't like it. No recommendation.

Sensitive Tea tree blemish gel
this is the same from above- it just doesn't do anything. No perks, no good effects, just a sticky face. No recommendation.

Neutrogena visibly clear rapid clear treatment
Literally the same as above. I think I acquired most of these products as a teenager with skin problems. And nothing was resolved by using them. And I wouldn't recommend any of them.

Nivea visage radiance boosting moisturiser
This product is like a shimmery moisturiser that leaves a film on your face. It doesn't sit well with any foundation/cover up, it makes your face look funnily glittery and just doesn't work. Again, I wouldn't recommend this product.

What a sad post today, all doom, gloom and no recommendations! I'm glad to be able to admit I don't like them though and finally get rid of them instead of hoarding them trying to use them up, do you do that? Have you tried any of these products?

Project Pan #3 haircare edition

Following the previous successful project pan posts here and here, I have another one to share with you. This time there's lots of hair care products to share, which doesn't surprise me at all!

Bastiste dry shampoo
I couldn't live without this stuff. I don't know what I did before it, honest. As I mentioned in the first project pan post, I have very thin hair and even if I touch it like 5 times in one day I can make it greasy. Which is a pain, especially because I like having my hair played with. I use it daily and I have already repurchased it. I just wish it was so blooming expensive, because the own-brands really don't match up.
Would I buy it again? For sure.

TRESemme Iron Style and Hold
this one is cheating because it's not quite finished yet, but it's pretty much there. I love this heat protection spray more than the GHD one featured on the last post, because it smells amazing. Similar to the GHD one, it isn't too much for my hair, it doesn't make it droop or feel icky, it's just great.
Would I buy it again? Yes.

Argan Oil Conditioner
This conditioner, I have to admit, was from the 99p store. It had Argan oil in it so I wanted to try it (everyone is raving about it!) but yes, as you would expect, it wasn't that great from the 99p store. It smelt nice and it did make my hair tamer but I couldn't see much conditioning treatment to it.
Would I buy it again? No

Toni&Guy Nourish Conditioner for Damaged Hair
This was a great product, I also had the matching shampoo. When using them together I really noticed a difference in my hair, it was so much shinier, less frizzy and just generally treated better. I liked the smell but I reckon it could put some people off - it reminded me of Cardamon.
Would I buy it again? Yes if it was in a deal.. but I'd like to try different products.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor
I love Aussie - not all aussie, but definitely this. I love aussie mainly for it's scent. This makes your hair smell like bubblegum and that makes me very very happy. It does make a bit of a difference to my hair but not enough for the price tag. I think in future I'll just stick to buying the single sachet's when they're on offer.
Would I buy again? Probably.. I'm a sucker for the smell.

So yes, I think that is enough for this project pan post - I am flyyyyying through these products which makes me a happy bunny. I am moving out soon and definitely don't have enough room for odds and ends. Have you tried any of these products? What did you think? Did you agree or disagree?

Project Pan #2

Well hello there, again! I didn't realise this post was going to come around so quickly, especially with a massive FIVE empties. I guess it turns out I have a lot of half-used products that I was determined to keep cluttered in my drawers (and my mum nods because she's not surprised by this).
Silvikrin Firm Hold Hairspray
Yes, love it.
Holds enough without being crunchy and it doesn't smell too bad - not great but not as bad as some!
Would I buy it again? Yes.

John Frieda Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque
Smells lovely, makes your hair feel good. I did like this product, it wasn't as awe-inspiring as I wanted it to be, and there wasn't enough in the tub for my liking, I also didn't like getting tonnes of water in the tub and you forget when you open it under the water stream but yeah.
Would I buy it again? If it was on offer and there wasn't another product I wanted to try instead.

Charles Worthington Maximum Hold Hairspray
I've had a lot of curls going on recently it appears, as I've managed to get rid of two hairsprays! This one smelt lovely but didn't hold firm enough for my particular taste, I like to know my hair is in place for the evening at least. Would I buy again? I don't think so.

Garnier Miracle Kin Perfector BB Cream
I LOVE THIS CREAM. I was super cheeky and order two seperate samples so I could have more. It smells INCREDIBLE, it provides a fair mount of coverage for a week when you don't have any major break outs and just don't want to feel like you're baring all.
Would I buy this (in the first place..)? Yes, I love it.

Superdrug Expertise Heat Protection Spray
I loved this little tester, I've had it for years, like since 2008, because I love the smell of it so much. As a heat protection spray it's fine, not too much for my thin hair. Not really much else to say about it!
Would I buy again? Yes

It's nice to see posts like this where it proves I'm de-cluttering, because in real life, it doesn't actually feel like I am. Hmph. One by one I guess!
